Wii Fastest Selling Console Ever in Australia - So Fast There's None Left!
As if all those tales of woe of poor parents lining up for hours to try and get a Wii weren't enough, now parents in Australia have been informed the Wii is officially the fastest selling console ever down under.
As lines of anxious parents continue to grow at game stores across the globe, Nintendo are proudly commenting on how sales of the Wii in Australia have rocketed to over 200,000 consoles in just under a year. Kicking the ass of Microsoft's Xbox 360, which previously held the record for shifting over 100,000 units in just over 7 months, Nintendo are ecstatic at the Wii's continual popularity. In the past month alone, there have been 32,101 units sold across Australia.
Sadly, it doesn't help the aforementioned parents who have resorted to trawling through eBay listings to pay an overinflated price for the console just to ensure it's under their little one's Christmas tree on December 25th.
