Video: Behind The Scenes Recording Of "Gusty Garden" Theme From Super Mario Galaxy
YouTube user LordMcA has uploaded a behind the scenes video of the "Gusty Garden" theme from Super Mario Galaxy being recorded in studio. You can even see Shigeru Miyamoto enjoying the tune on the sidelines:
If you have a Wii and haven't yet purchased Super Mario Galaxy: Go. Get. Now. If you don't have a Wii, then buy one and then buy Super Mario Galaxy. It's amazing. Not to mention it's a great 3D spatial awareness teaching tool (if I ever have kids - hah! - I'll probably force them to play this game to teach them spatial reasoning; not that they'd mind, I'm sure).

Beautiful. Just amazing. I can't wait for this game to show up under my tree!
I cannot wait for the OST on this. I find my self just standing around in game just listening to the music sometimes.
Is it sad that this brings a tear to a 28 year old guy's eye?
@blatz
Absolutely not. I tear up too when I hear a remix of an old Mario song with a full orchestra.
this track rocks. but its sad that theyre all just going off of the score and not even glancing up at the conductor, though he doesnt seem to be doing much conducting anyways.
@ringoxcore
I think that's due to Miyamoto's exacting attitude, methinks. He wants the song a certain way, and I'm sure it's written that way. They're probably afraid of him sitting there listening in.
