Two weeks ago while out and about, I picked up a copy of Oblivion for the PS3 and have been valiantly plowing my way through it. I am playing a Level 13 Kajiit Spell sword born under the Birthsign of The Mage. He blends the best of a brawler with range and speed with high acrobatics and intelligence.
This game was the reason I wanted to get a 360 in the first place. I played Morrowind on the Xbox for hours as the same character I would eventually choose for Oblivion. Now I’m playing the original release for the PS3 with the additional Nights of the Nine quest. I know Fruit is enjoying his copy of the Game of the Year edition with the expansive Shivering Isles content. This weekend past, Fruit and I were entertaining the Lord of Rhodes and the Duke of Moskos in the Solarium, discussing the differences between the Breton and the Kajiit races with girlish glee.
These are huge games that one could easily get lost in without mastery of the map, the journal, and quick traveling. To aid you in your quest across the land of Cyrodiil, a darling group of gamers have created a searchable Wiki of helpful hints and guidance. Need to look up a spell, or a town? They have you covered with an expansive knowledge base that began with the release of Daggerfall in 1995.

I'm playing Oblivion GotY Edition for the PS3 and it rocks! I'm a level 39 custom class (kind of like a spell sword). I've been playing maybe 10-15 or so hours a week since it came out and there's still so much I haven't done yet. Love when your strength started to get close to 100 and everyone starts saying, "Look at the muscles on you!" LOL. Got into the Arcane University finally, completed the Knights of the Nine expansion, and am starting to close some gates... but think I might break to do the Shivering Isles expansion. Anyway, glad to see you all like the game so much too!!! And happy to see I'm not the only gay one out there playing it!
