Nintendo Celebrates Super Mario Galaxy Launch With NYC Party Extravaganza

Super Mario Galaxy is going to be a super-mega-deluxe hot title this holiday season. I can only imagine that this game alone will make an already tight supply of Wii's even tighter as people learn more about it and try to get their hands all over it. To make an even bigger deal of an already huge title, Nintendo plans to celebrate the game's launch with a launch party worthy of a Mario game.
The festivities will begin at the Nintendo World Store in New York City on Sunday, November 11 at 8 p.m. EST. Throngs of fans are expected to attend, some will likely be sporting their Mario themed outfits, as well. You will also be able to play the game on kiosks before you buy it. If you don't feel like playing it, you can just listen to the DJ and watch the dancers do their thing (but will there be go-go boys?).
For more details, make the jump. Are you planning to attend?
