Crescendo and Serenade Playable on PS3 ES

EScrescendo.jpg

I've made no secret among friends and acquaintances that I consider Eternal Sonata not only to be the single best RPG available on the Xbox 360, but I also view it as a beautiful, moving piece of full realized art. Those of you have had a chance to lay hands on the simple-yet-stunning Tri-Crescendo produced title know exactly what I'm talking about.

If you have not played -- and you own a PS3 -- you now have a little more incentive to check out the title. Although the Japanese produced RPG still has no official release date on the Sony console, it has been announced that two previously non-playable characters, Prince Crescendo and Serenade, will in fact be playable in the Sony iteration along with new bits of story sequences.

Now maybe by the time it sees release, I will have finally completed the required second play-through. Well, "required" for the gamerscore whores like me.

Any word on whether they will add this new stuff to the Xbox 360 version of the game? Through download perhaps?
