What The Folk? Folklore Character Creation Winner
Congrats are in order for Lisa, the grand prize winner of SCEA's Create a Folk contest. She nabbed a free copy of Folklore and a limited edition art book for her endeavor. The lovely design is named Quasarilli, and she likes short walks on the beach, polishing her horns and impatiently tapping her talons on hardwood floors.The creature was chosen by the development team at Game Republic to be included in an expansion for the game post-release. Folklore will be released next week, is anyone out there planning on picking it up?

I've actually got this title on pre-order at my local store, it's visually stunning and looks like it may satiate my action/RPG desires.
If that's the best one I'd hate to see the worst. Anyway I'm really looking forward to the game. :-)
Yea I'm a bit curious as to what the Folk's power is gonna be... tapping its talons?
I'm very interested in this game following the demo and the coverage it's gotten, but so far the reviews have been a little mixed. I'm a little hesitant to drop $60 on Folklore just yet when Ratchet and Clank is so close behind (not to mention just about every other game coming out soon, gah!)
The reviews have been mentioning a lot of mundane repetition in the game (of the non-ding-level! kind), which could be a deal breaker.
I'm putting it on my rental list first. Reminds ms of Lost Kingdoms on the Gamecube - without the cards.
