Video: Mushroom Singdom: 9/24/07
GameJew continues his musical Virtual Console revues this week with a trifecta of talent and gentle judgment: first he takes it down to a subtly pulsing indie-ambient vibe for SNES similar-to-but-legally-distinct-from-Tetris puzzler Kirby's Avalanche. Then we get a taste of folk-country with Genesis beat-em-up Streets of Rage 3, which doesn't hold a candle to Final Fight, it seems.
Lastly GameJew cools our fiery tempers with the cool island breeze of a jazzy Reggae number that ponders the unpronounceable but satisfying adventure that is Legend of Hero Tonma "(How do you pronounce dat?)" which gets the thumbs up.
