Video: Is That a Huge Atari Joystick In Your Pocket?
As part art piece, and part social experiment, Mary Flanagan made this gi-normous Atari Joystick to comment on "the exploration of the cultural and sociological effects of technology". That's fancy talk for 'I won't be sated until I play with the biggest joystick imaginable.' I concur sweetie, I concur. She built it so big, it takes two people to play it. Now that's what I call impressive.

No offense, but that is the best looking giant joystick but has the worst concept ever. Why can't I just give another person a free 2600 joystick and let them join in on the fun. Why do we have to play a single player game WITH someone?

I know my GG handle fits the "size" of this particular "shoe", and all, but damn... that's a big damned joystick.
I like the idea of playing a single player game with more than a single player. I used to do this when I was younger. Great fun back then, and now I have alcohol and cute friends... this could get even better! :)
