Video: Load Times Reduced For Crisis Core On PSP-2000
The redesigned PSP has been promoted for shorter load times than the previous PSP Phatty Fatty 2X4. While older titles may not seem to be much faster on the system, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core fares really well on the new, not so much on the old. Check out this side by side comparison of the two systems as they prepare for battle simultaneously. The old PSP chugs its way on like a tugboat as the PSP-2000 glides on by like a hydrofoil. To all of you Phatty owners, is it worth the several seconds per enemy encounter to upgrade?

Oh, that just sucks. I can't believe how drastic the difference is! But I didn't buy a DS Lite for the brighter screens, and I'm not going to buy a PSP Lite for the faster load times.
Good thing I'm not the least bit interested in Crisis Core, eh?
Wow, I'm much more likely to buy a PSP now, I think. That was one of the really annoying things.
There are some things I think GayGamer should know about Crisis Core.
#1. You can admit your love to the fellow SOLDIER who gives you text messages and advice throughout the game.

Well, what if the PSP-2000 makes Silent HIll Origins faster, AND scarier, and doubles as a paring knife? What then?
Hm. If the paring knife can be used in the game, then I'll think about it. ;-)
Since I'll be buying a PSP soon, I'll definitely be getting the PSP-2000. I think it's perfect for those who don't own it yet, kind of like the 360 Elite.
please don't call it "psp-2000".
If I can get a good price selling my current PSP, I'd consider picking up the new model PSP. I want to try it out first-hand though before I make the change, to see for myself if the differences are really that important to me.
