Thompson To Subpoena President Bush?

Since he can't postpone his hearing (and potential disbarment) forever, everybody's favorite insane Floridian has filed documents requesting a deposition from no less a figure than President George W. Bush, who certainly doesn't have better things to do than help a crazy man retain his license to practice law.
The Florida Bar has been out to cut this cancer of a man from their body for a while - attempting to suspend his license for 91 days (a single day long enough to necessitate having to find another lawyer to sign off on everything he does - a risk few sane lawyers will be likely to take) or have him outright disbarred as a result of his hysterical, delusional and increasingly unstable legal pranks.
Thompson reserves a particularly feral hatred for the law firm of Blank Rome - sometime representatives of Take-Two and "heavyweight Republican donors." Thompson must think that those two ought to be mutually exclusive?
Since his public disclosure of his email rant against Take-Two, it seems obvious that Thompson is desperate to break the agreement that forbids him from contacting any of Take-Two's business partners (ie, everyone) with insane legal suits. Look, for instance, at his lame attempt to break a deal between Nintendo and Wendy's - all he could do was write a letter whining that deceased Wendy's founder Dave Thomas would be unhappy with the promotion. Quite a castrated bull, this new Thompson who is bound by the same laws he so desperately wishes to manipulate. One might think a Christian like Jack Thompson would be at home with his dying wife.
The new move is a sad bid to get the President's attention - which, if he actually could achieve, would likely postpone Thompson's potential disbarment until the President leaves office in 2009 and is free to be deposed. (Paula Jones notwithstanding...unless Thompson wants to fellate the Commander-In-Chief?)

As much of an idiot Jack Thompson is, posting on the internet about his dying wife is irrelevant and maybe a bit unnecessary? :(
