Eternal Sonata IS Coming To The PS3, Nobody Apologizes For Confusion
Despite much earlier confusion on the subject, Namco Bandai has confirmed that Eternal Sonata will be appearing on the PS3. In fact, the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata will be appearing at Namco Bandai's booth at next week's Tokyo Game Show - so I'll be back in a week with my first-hand impressions!
Namco's planned a 2008 release for the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata in Japan - making the game a great addition to Final Fantasy XIII and White Knight, two of the other big upcoming PS3 RPGs.
It's good to see the anti-exclusivity trend work in Sony's favor - the PS2 has been RPG-central for years, it would be only natural if the PS3 followed suit. Time will tell...
