Mario On Ice: Super Paper Mario Glitching In the UK
I don't know about anyone else but it seems to me that the Wii has had a considerable number of bugging games. I'm not going to say that no other console is guilty of this, quite the contrary in fact. The error rate seems to be occuring in an increasing rate. First Twilight Princess, then Madden and now the UK release of Super Paper Mario.
The glitch in question occurs if players are play the game in English, German or Spanish. There is a point in Chapter 2-2 where Mario encounters a character named Mimi. After a period of time a key which is assumed that players will pick up. Unfortunately if you avoid the key, next time you speak with Mimi, your Wii will freeze. This bug only exists in the UK version so those of us in the US or Japan should be safe.
Nintendo intends to provide a replacement copy for anyone which wishes it. They have not yet released any information on how to get a replacement copy, but more details should show up shorty. Until then, just pick up that key.
