Live From The Set Of Watchmen!

zacksnyder.jpg

Zack Snyder just posted a video greeting to comic nerds everywhere, live from the set of his upcoming Watchmen movie. While the video itself doesn't reveal too much about the movie itself, the exhausted-looking Snyder makes a point of talking about how everyone involved with the film is a fan of the comic and wants to make sure that it's the best possible movie they can make.

Well, that's nice to hear, Zack. Don't get me wrong: I loved your interpretation of 300, but I'm not sure how you're going to get that many half-naked muscle men onto the screen in a repeat performance.

You liked 300?! It was such a macho chest thumping (admittedly nice chests) pissing contest which displayed eugenics in an eerily positive light. The whole thing made me uncomfortable.

300 was terrible and I'm sure Zack Snyder's interpretation of the Watchmen will be complete dreck.
The chick who shows her tits in Harold & Kumar is the Silk Spectre II, Carla Gugino who is in her mid 30s is playing her mother the Silk Spectre, and Patrick Wilson who is also in his 30s is Nite Owl II?!?
The only good points are the creepy Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach and I don't think he'll be enough to carry the movie.

Really,I thought 300 was awesome. Good and violent, man was it violent. I like some good old fashioned violence. The half naked men was definately a perk. I think it really had some messages about honor that we could well learn from in this day and age.

I enjoyed the movie, too, mainly because it was as faithful to the Frank Miller comic as Sin City was. Seriously, guys, what's with all the hate?

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
