Blue Dragon CCG Coming to the DS
There are two things that I lose to every time; RPGs and collectables. With the recent passing of my Xbox 360 I've missed out on the release of Blue Dragon, one of my most anticipated titles since the release of the system. Fortunately I had the pleasure of playing the demo shortly before my console kicked the bucket. It had the degree artistic quality I've come to expect from Akira Toriyama, as seen in his previous work with Dragon Quest VIII.
Not to left this up-and-coming title slip by with only one release, developer Mistwalker has decided to bring a new Blue Dragon title to the Nintendo DS. As with previous titles, Mistwalker has decided to go with a mixed genre. Blue Dragon will now feature a collectable card battle system rather than a traditional RPG. While this genre has been done before on the DS, they never really get old to me. I smell a franchise.
