Video: Get Married, Both In EQ And Real Life
You know, I'm not sure if I should be ashamed or proud that this video is circling around the net right now. Part of me is proud that gamers are as nerdily cool to get married both in real life (in fantasy costumes, proceeded by an honor guard featuring Darth Vader), and do both ceremonies in front of a massive crowd. Part of me is ashamed because... well, it's Everquest. And, no offense, people who are as obsessed with MMOs as these two tend to be a little creepy in real life, more often than not.

You know, I have mad love for Darth Vader, wherever he may appear, but I cannot figure out why he's there.
I personally think this is awsome. I don't think it is too nerdy. You only get married once (so you hope) and so you should do it the way you want and not what "tradition" states. My wife and I were both huge EQ1 addicts. We met in RL though. When we got married we had a renaissance theme and used the EQ1 theme music instead of the bridal march song.
As a Star Wars geek I would have loved if Darth Vader was at my wedding.
