PlayStation Store Update 08/09/07
No new demos for the update today, although there is a new puzzler for purchase called Piyotama. It's an egg dropping puzzle game like no other with a super-cutsy visual design from Sony's Japan studio. In it, players line up 4 or more eggs of a similar color, and hatch them together by shaking the controller. You can shuffle the eggs back and forth from the center chamber by sliding the nest from left to right. There is also a global online ranking system, so you can compare your chicks against others. The game sells for a slender $2.99. For that price, it's worth a try if you are a puzzle fan.
There are two Heavenly Sword related videos, a “Making Of” No. 1, and the Anime No. 1 that we posted a few days ago. The anime is presented in 720p, so it looks considerably cleaner than the videos posted around the net.
The last game-related video is a Gameplay Trailer for Turok, that was unveiled at E3 this year.
Then there are three film trailers for Superbad, which looks pretty weak except for Michael Cera, I love you! Fred Claus Trailer 2 (bring a book), and rounding off the trio with 10,000 B.C. Of the three 10,000 B.C. looks pretty impressive, well it doesn’t take much with such simple company. The film is a prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter through uncharted land for the salvation of his tribe.
I'm just wondering where is the Lair demo? The game is about to drop, on September 4th so we should be seeing a demo soon, right? That is unless you are devoting the rest of your time to the game, improving it before the release. Still, give a gamer something.

they said no Lair demo till after the game launches, so...maybe....
also, there's a new background wallpaper for your PS3 that's free which brings the total to 4 free customizable wallpapers with more on the way...
