Nobody Wants To Play Sega With Harrison Ford
Back in the 8-bit days, if you didn't have a Nintendo Entertainment System, you were at a friend's house who did. It was the undisputed king of consoles back then and nobody would contest that fact, well possibly the few unfortunate kids who had a Master System. Now the Master System had a few great games (the first Phantasy Star, Ys, the Alex Kid series), but it didn't have the exposure or support Nintendo had. The illustrious Brandon Bird depicts that longing for the hot current console with his painting, Nobody Wants to Play Sega With Harrison Ford.
The painting was done as oil on canvas and measures 36" by 18". The original piece has been sold, but he printed a poster version with a blue background which measures 22" x 8.5" that is available on his site. Bird has a wonderful fascination with stars of the 80s and 90s from Christopher Walken and Edward Norton, to Mr. T, and Michael Landon. For more of Bird's paintings, check out brandonbird.com

Thanks Jack for the tip!

Aw...poor Harrison...I'll play with him!
The SMS was a nice system, although it did not do well here in the states, it was wildly popular in other countries (Brazil comes to mind). It's architecture remained virtually unchanged, but it became the guts of the Sega Game Gear. Also the Sega Genesis contains all of the required hardware to run SMS games in it's audio hardware section.
I've really enjoyed coming to this guy's site over the past year or so ever since my neighbor showed it to me. He has what appears to be a certain obsession with Edward Norton.
80s actors like edward norton?
