Lavine Confirms No PS3 Bioshock

Yesterday a little rumor circulated around the net about a possible port of Bioshock on the PS3, because of a line of text in the PC demo that mentions controls for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The lead designer of Bioshock, Ken Lavine spoke with Joystiq to quash said rumor:
"I promise you, there is no secret plan about the PS3 that we're keeping from people. There's no PS3 development going on that we're hiding."
He went on the explain the line of text:
"There's lots of stuff that gets into game code, plans change over time and we got an exclusive deal with Microsoft ... that's not a Rosetta Stone discovery."
It seems that a PS3 version was being considered at one time, but Microsoft stepped in with a satchel full of gold bullion to nab the title as an exclusive for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows. Despite all of the flaming the game has received from over-zealous fanboys, the sales and critics scores are through the roof.
