Wii Gets Another System Update
At midnight last night, my Wii lit up again, and my hopes of a playable Metroid demo were dashed when I read the Wii-mail from Nintendo to find that they were simply offering up another system update.
This update will prevent your Wii console from locking up, which can occur when using the Internet Channel if you press RESET on either your Wii console or within the HOME menu. This update also corrects some Internet connection stability issues when using the Wii LAN Adapter from Nintendo.
This coming so soon after the previous update has me a wii bit suspicious. Could the rumors I'd heard of Wiis locking up after the last update have been true? I know mine needed a hard reset at least once during this time. Hopefully this'll fix the problem!

That light was teasing me last night and I never got a chance to see what it was.
The rumor is indeed true. It happened to me after the previous update. Let us hope this update kills that unfortunate side effect.
Seriously, where is the Metroid Prime 3 demo? But also, that 'Aurora' video was pretty damn sweet, so I won't complain too much.
funny thing, my Wii actually locked up twice trying to install this latest update!
Mine lit up about 10:00 last night. I do not use the internet channel very often since the wii is in my living room and so is my computer.
