Vampire Rain For 360 Goes Gold

In a world, in a city, on the streets where vampires look like people. There is one team sent to snipe the ever-loving hell out of some blood sucking freaks. Okay the game doesn’t look that cheesy, but you get the point.
Vampire Rain for the 360 has just gone gold and is an interesting mélange of stealth action and horror. The title is being developed by Artoon, which is the same company that birthed Blue Dragon. Imagine if Sam Fisher was plopped down in the center of the Blade universe. The vampires, called Nightwalkers, are downright fast, powerful, and nasty. They usually look like regular people. Once spotted, the Nightwalkers will revert to a ravenous form, hell bent on drinking your blood.
The protagonist looks to control similar to Fisher, with the ability to hang off ledges, and shimmy up drainage pipes. I love it when my characters can shimmy, don’t you? He also has multiple vision settings, enabling him to spot the vampires from the regular folk. Expect to see more from this game when it hit shelves on July 3rd. Until then, head over to the Vampire Rain site for the official trailer, gameplay descriptions, screenshots and wallpapers.

I downloaded the demo for this. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. Not only is it a blatant Splinter Cell ripoff (only without the quality), but it basically looks and plays like a game they made for the original Xbox in 2003 then left on the shelf for 4 years then did a quickie port to the 360. The lighting isn't even as nice as the first Splinter Cell, let alone a game made in 2007. The voice acting is also atrociously bad. The whole presentation just screams "half-assed".
Trust me, this one is a "Pass"
