Soul Calibur IV Teaser Trailer
In my book, Soul Calibur goes down as one of the best 3D fighting franchises ever made. It's pretty, the characters are terrificly bizarre and the amount of moves is truly mind boggling. With lots of practice you can learn to manipulate a character, take advantage of it's myriad of special moves and become devastating as a fighter. Many a Friday night was spent at my friend Gerald's house playing Soul Calibur till the wee hours of the morning, hooting and hollering like a bunch of drunken frat boys.
Now the Soul Calibur franchise is taking the leap to the new generation consoles with Soul Calibur IV. This is a teaser trailer so we don't get to see much, but if the character models are as rich as the few pieces we see here, it's going to be a truly stunning game. Although, what is up with Ivy's breasts? I guess she got some work done...

Soul Calibur is one of the franchises that actually pulled me into fighters. Deep enough to master, but easy enough that button-mashers such as myself could easily pick it up and (occassionally) open a can of whuppass on a friend. Can't wait for the next one. Virtua Fighter 5 just didn't do it for me.
And seriously. Are Ivy's boobs about to explode?
Not too crazy about it looking like Soul DOA.
Then again, I wouldn't complain if the gave some fanservice with Kilik or Rock.
I'll undoubtably buy it. I just hope the sexual objectification works both ways.
Oh and that the general gameplay is great of course. That's the most important part of the game afterall. :P
Well, being a fan of the series, I'm sure I'll find a way to cover my eyes and enjoy the game. Darn they're huge! What! did someone finally knock her over, if you know what I mean.

Heh, I remember when Soulcalibur first came out, my barely pubescent friends had a cow about the size of Ivy's endowments...not to mention the fetish wear. I think her outfit is covering less...but her breasts have always been disproportionately large if memory serves. Ahhh. Breast jiggle technology. Yay. Still though, Ivy is my all time favorite Soulcalibur character. Any Ivy = good Ivy. (Or...ambivalent evil Ivy?)
