School's Out: My Summer Vacation 3
Developed and brought to you by SCEA, if you live in Japan, My Summer Vacation 3 actually does look quite pretty, if not a little cheap. They've done quite a good job of getting across that lackadaisical peace of summer, even if it is a summer I've never wanted to know. Backgrounds look prerendered and water effects seem surprisingly simple for the PS3 considering it's amazing water physics displays, but I'm just being nitpicky here. Besides, the chances of this game coming stateside are pretty nil.
On a side note, GameTrailers has updated it's site. Although I was a fan of the old layout, I have to admit the new one is easier to navigate and easier to read. Check it out, if only for one of those talk show television makeover moments.

Even though I don't even own a PS3 I think I would love to see this game get a slightly Americanized face-lift (I don't think younger Americans will understand the Japanese lifestyle) and be ported to the States. It looks like a game geared towards kids that is actually fun and involving.
Although, I'm also jealous. I would love to spend my REAL summer vacation that way. Sucks to be in college and have a job. =(
Seeing this title ported for the US would actually influence me to buy a PS3.
