Final Fantasy: Dissidia Trailer Will Blow Your Mind

I'm not really sure what the devil is going on here, especially considering it's only a "work in progress" but wow is it impressive. The graphics go far beyond what I have ever expected of the little PSP, and the astounding action I'll leave for you to decide. Could we be looking at the first Final Fantasy based fighter? It would certainly make sense with the logo's theme: opposing forces on opposite sides. There also appears to be life bars, and the return of old characters only implies more that there would be a group of fighters to choose from. And everyone knows that fighters are perfect for a system with wi-fi capabilities. Either that or it's a crazy action RPG making a huge departure with the Final Fantasy franchise. Any ideas? Because I've completely lost the ability to think logically in regards to anything Final Fantasy, having been overwhelmed by my own fanboyism.

I am very happy about the Zitan/Zidane appearance, but the Sephiroth popping up at the end feels like the money-horse they can't put down to stop milking.

Also, Sephiroth showing up there indicates something very important about this game. Up until now, we've only seen heroes and villains from within games matched. Knight & Garland, Zidane & Kuja. In that last cinematic, we see the first crossover, Knight & Sephiroth. This means the game will most likely allow players to select a wide variety of heroes & villains from across the different games.

Personally, I'd love to have a little Cecil vs. Kain going on. That would be awesome.
