The 1Up Show's Exclusive BioShock Media Blitz
Nothing kicks off my day better than a new round of BioShock information. At this point, I think the word "BioShock" has been published on this site more than the word "gay," but what can I say, WE LOVE BIOSHOCK!
The folks at the 1Up show have put together this great special on Irrational Game's highly anticipated follow up to the terrifying System Shock. Irrational's Ken Levine is on hand to answer questions and talk about the game as well as showing off some new in-game footage. I don't know if it's possible for me to be more excited about this game and yet somehow, after watching this piece, I am.
Some of the new footage features "training films" for the plasmids which are genetic mutations you can apply to yourself that give you powers like telekenisis or freezing your enemies. These little snippets are quite funny and spot on with their 50's style PSA feeling and are followed up by footage of the power in action. I have posted the training films (in glorious HD) after the jump for those of you who want to watch them on their own, but before you do so I would highly suggest you watch the above interview as it's quite informative and hearing Ken Levine talk so lovingly about the game only makes you want to play it more.
