Riddick Could Make A Return On 360 And PS3
That delicious digital daddy Riddick, could be making a return on the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Game Informer’s “Loose Talk” rumor mill churned out the news that Starbreeze Studios is working on a remake of their 2004 critical hit first person shooter Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay for next-gen consoles. The graphics will of course be beefed up and there will be another chapter added to the story.
As soon as the game is confirmed, we will ring all of the bells at the Castle and issue a royal proclamation. Are there any fans out there who played the original and would journey through it again for some polished visuals and another chapter? I know I would. I was floored by the title when I came across the first actual mission involving procuring a shank from the cellblock pass-around party bottom. There was that and Vin Diesel’s luscious digital persona in the game made me tingly at unexpected moments. Yeah and the controls were tight and such. Hmm, delish. I could have seconds please?

i played the original when it first came out and i remember it fondly. it was a fantastic movie to game adaptation and i dont know how much prettier they can make it look. plus digital vin was nice to look at. i would play through it again just for an extra chapter. this one screams download content for the 360 version!

On a Riddick remake: That's great and all, but I'd take a new one in a heartbeat.
Although it's not the usual genre I prefer, I enjoyed the PC game quite much so, I guess I wouldn't mind popping another dose of Diesel into my 360.
