Screw Attack Says 'Farewell' To Nintendo's Gamecube
The sexy men of Screw Attack have put together a Top 10 Games list for the Gamecube to give the old gal a good send off. Stuttering Craig hosts this video and I'm proud to say that all but RE4 (which I am waiting for on the Wii) and Soul Calibur II are in my collection. ...but most of all, I was extremely pleased that Eternal Darkness was included in the list and thank goodness that game never arrived on the N64 (Have you seen screenshots of it?). Which games do you think should have been included?

WHAT? Cell Shading CRAP???!!! it's totally outrageous: Wind Waker completely out of the picture??? I'm sorry but Wind Waker really made my Game Cube experience a special one! And I really prefer its looks to the TP Zelda! UNFAIIIIIIR! (and where's Rogue's squadron? it was kind of killer ap' when it came out!)
er they kinda missed the best game on the Gamecube, what made me buy one...
DONKEY KONGA!
Innovative, fun and great with friends.
I rest my case.
Goodness, you didn't buy RE4 on release? You're a stronger man than I, Timsy. Either that or just plain obdurate.
I think they nailed this list to the ground. Every game mentioned (aside from the still-overpriced Ikaruga) is in my collection, though, though--
I will say F-Zero GX deserves mention. If you want hard, Captain Falcon and the rest of his spandex-clad crew's got what you need. Holy. God. Did I hate. That game.
Tough love, what can ya do~
lol i was so pissed at Fzer GX's difficulty i broke down and bought a gameshark so i could unlock all the tracks and racers and machine parts. cause i knew i could NEVER do it on my own.
I second boyband, Donkey Konga is easily one of the best (and frequently overlooked) games on the cube. At it's current price at the EBstops of the world, no wii/cube owner should go without this incredible game.
Smash at number 4? I'm sorry, but no. that game is STILL being played at this moment in Gamecubes and Wiis everywhere. RE4 is a damned fine game, and Prime wasn't bad either, but at the least I would put Smash above Prime. the fact that they sound like they're putting Smash in because they HAVE to and not because they WANT to makes it sound to me like they either A) get schooled by their friends or B) are just lacking friends.
*grumbles* yet another time I take offense to their lists. no Pikmin? no F-Zero? no Fire Emblem? no Konga (especially the fun that is Jungle Beat)? come on guys, you're not even TRYING.
I liked Donkey Konga, but both DDR and Karaoke Revolution held my attention for a lot longer. The fact that the drums were basically just on/off switches (even the mic) took a lot of fun out of the concept, as far as I'm concerned. After the first 5 or 6 hours it felt like DDR for dummies.
Pikmin 2 should totally have been on there, though. I have not played a more beautiful game than that one, and the gameplay was pretty awesome.
