New Downloadable Content For Blue Dragon Revealed

Siliconera dug up an announcement from Microsoft detailing a new piece of downloadable content for Mistwalker Stuidos' Blue Dragon. This new content will cost you 300 Microsoft Points ($3.75) and will be released on April 27, 2007. What is this new content? Well it's a random dungeon creator for all you explorers to...ummm...explore!
There's nothing quite like exploring a new dungeon and the added replayability of having a new dungeon to conquer whenever you want is well worth the 300 Point price tag. Keep in mind, this content will be available to Japanese 360 owners as they are the only ones who have this game at present. I'll be expecting this to hit US shores when the North American version of Blue Dragon lands in my local game shop. Having been a follower of Final Fantasy and Sakaguchi-san for my entire gaming life, I'm very much looking forward to this game! For two more screenshots of Blue Dragon, make the jump.

Meh, random dungeons remove some of the polish of games like these. The random dungeons in games like Dark Cloud were so beige.
I prefer well constructed and thought out dungeons to randomly generated ones.
