Neverwinter Nights 2 Expansion Announced!

Neverwinter fans, hold onto your jaunty hats and masterwork rapiers: Obsidian and Atari today announce Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, the expansion to NWN2, which will roll onto shelves in Fall 2007 with d8 hit die and a stunningly high charisma score.
Mask of the Betrayer takes place in the Forgotten Realms not long after the conclusion of the events in NWN2, as the player finds him or herself stranded deep underground and "surrounded by a horde of evil spirits." Yay...just like Christmas! The campaign is set in Rashemen, a land of rugged terrain, sexy berserkers (see Minsc & Boo, pictured), and matriarchal witches with mastery (mistressery?) over the unusually active and numerous spirits of the land. Rashemen is also dangerously close to Thay and its cabal of Red Wizards, constantly a-plotting something foul and fun...so that's neat.
In addition to a new campaign, the expansion will bring epic levels, dozens of new feats and spells, new races, base classes and prestige classes, new companions, weapons, armor, crafting, new monsters, and beefed-up modding tools.

Well I'm stoked! oked oked oked. Heyy is that an echo o o o? Where are all the gay NWN2 fans?
Hey tiny, since you use this large, muscley and sensitive mouse holder as your icon, mind educating those of us who have never played the series who he is?
Enquiring minds want to know.
hey game-boi,
tiny uses the character portrait for Minsc, a human ranger from Rasheman who was a playable NPC in Baldur's Gate I & II. he suffered a head injury and adopted a "miniature giant space hamster" named Boo, to whom he talks throughout both games. if you've never played these two games - DO!!
:)
Yeah, what he said!
