Meaningless Mondays: Shingo Mama, Drag Queen For Kids
Okay, okay, I know this is, like, a thousand years old and has nothing to do with anything. But when Martegod brought this delightfully bizarre cross-dressing Japanese children's show host up in conversation, I had sudden flashbacks of absolute hilarity at seeing a drag queen host a children's television show. That ain't what my own pet project, Fisty McNichols' Five-Fingered Jamboree, looks like...I'll tell you that much.
Nope, this is Shingo Katori, whose character Shingo Mama appeared on the Japanese variety show Sata Suma. And in this video, unless mine eyes deceive me, so does freaking James Brown. The song is satanically catchy, so, you know...mwahaha.
Also, Shingo can fit his whole fist into his mouth. Take that, Miss McNichols.
