Introversion's Video Of Their New Project, Subversion
Indie darling and all around solid developer Introversion studios just unveiled a tech demo of their new title Subversion. Known for their visually minimalist but strikingly effective games Darwinia and Defcon, the studio is delving into procedurally generated maps for their new game.
Introversion is a special case in our current generation of game development that focuses on big budgets and high production values. The trend tends to highlight the capabilities of faster processors and high definition output. However, the studio has carved their niche by focusing on gameplay over content.
There has been little to no details about the gameplay planned for Subversion, but fans are already speculating about what type of game Introversion has in store for us. At this point who knows, only time will tell. At the rate Introversion releases their games, it might be some time before we find out anything. Fortunately they also have Multiwinia on horizon. Who knows which will win the release race, but you can guarantee that we will be following this company closely and report our findings as soon as we can.
