Bioshock Big Daddy Demo
We've been covering the development of Bioshock for some time now. Every morsel of information, every screenshot, and demo footage brings us one step closer to exploring the underwater paradise turned evil, Rapture. Content Producer Melissa Miller breaks down the footage, explaining how to kill a Big Daddy by creatively using your genetic plasmid powers. The plasmid powers allow you to throw items through telekinesis. You can throw aggression at an enemy, making it the target for all of the enemies around. Teleportation can be handy in a pinch.
The devilish details in Bioshock are priceless. When the little sister comes around, you can hear her scratchy, squeaky voice before you see her. Once she enters, it looks like she uses the floor tiles to play hopscotch to her victim. I just about fell out the first time I saw her stick the hypodermic into a body and eat the Adam, whilst coughing and choking on it. Ewww....gross.








FINALLY a flaming teddy bear as a weapon. It's about time.
Hmm, seems there isn't much place for innovation left after half life unhinged the FPS-genre once again. I do hope that this game has lots of adventure to it - otherwise all the work done for the atmosphere will have been for naught...
