Trauma Center: Training Surgeons of the Future?
A good friend of mine is a heart surgeon. We used to play a lot of Crash Bandicoot when he was still in his surgical residency program. So when I heard the reports that gaming improves the skills of surgeons, I had to chuckle. So which is it? Video games are leading to the downfall of civilization as that crazy guy in Floriduh keeps insisting or are there positive reinforcements? I also remember reading that gamers are better drivers because they have faster reactions times. So how does this impact gay gamers? Better digital manipulation, of course!

This is something I really agree with. Maybe not on the level of actual surgical training (which may one day be a possibility), but with quicker reflexes and skills in critical thinking and assessing situations, gamers are generally better at things than non-gamers.
