One Piece Unlimited Adventure Wii-bsite

opua.jpg

I'm probably the only person in the United States that is excited about this game, but it is a dream come true--a One Piece game for the Wii. Going by the name of One Piece: Unlimited Adventure and created by Ganbarion and produced by Bandai, it is a Wii exclusive and by far the One Piece game with the largest budget.

A few images and a crappy video appeared on IGN back in May of last year, and if it's any clue as to how much I simply can NOT wait for this game, it was one of my first posts for this very site. Considering that I can reach levels of obsession that would make any member of the psychology field start sweating bullets, it is a bit of an understatement to say that I often check for new info on this game.

Imagine my unconcealable glee, then, when I discovered that the Japanese official site is no longer just a static image. If you click on a katakana link near the bottom (which reads, "Bandai/Namco gameplay site") you will find under the "Game Information" link that not only that it appears all of the original crew (Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Nami and Sanji), but quite a few screenshots that show the awe inspiring kooky-pirate beauty of the whole thing. So far all I can gather is that there will be elements of time progression and a rumor that Chopper and Robin will also be playable and several villains from the series will make appearances, including Enel from the Skypiea storyline.

Now I just have to wait like a year longer, and a definite US release date announcement. Oy, the piratey sorrow!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
