2k Games announces the arrival of BioWare's action RPG, Jade Empire, (formerly of the Xbox) on the PC February 26th. This enhanced PC version, titled Jade Empire: Special Edition, will feature new exclusive content and upgraded graphics. Also included are new monsters, items and combat styles as well as a poster and a Jade Empire art book.

I really enjoyed Jade Empire when I played it on the Xbox. While it had many of the same elements of "Knights of the Old Republic, it maintained it's individuality with it's Chinese mythological setting and beautiful graphics. depending on which character you choose and your conversations with people, there's even opportunity for some very close same sex relationships.

I love the game, but it was horribly short. It's even shorter than most action games. While I'm glad they didn't stuff in a bunch of fetch quests, the story felt a bit empty. I might buy it again if the the exclusive content delve deeper into the story.

The only reason why I won't get this one is because everyone had the same complaint when it first came out: It didn't provide an adequate challenge.

I really enjoyed Jade Empire, but like the above comments, it seemed really short. The ending also felt rushed. I'm kinda wary about the whole "exclusive content" thing too, because thats what they said when Knights of the Old Republic came out on PC and all it was was some space station you could visit that had a tiny little quest thread and a bunch of gear that made the game even easier :\

Honestly, I'd like to see a revamped KotOR2. You know, one that actually has the last 25% of the game finished with like... a real ending. You know, maybe explain the importance of the bounty hunter or something?

It's sorta like... as if millions of people suddenly cried out, and were just as suddenly silenced.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
