Nintendo Announces Q1 Releases, Mario Kart 64 Coming Next Week

Nintendo has announced a list of titles set to be released in the first quarter of this year. While the list is a bit underwhelming, I'm sure we can expect more goodness once the developers out there, like for any system, fine tune their ideas and work on their games. Here's the list:
In addition to this list, it is revealed that next week's Virtual Console release will be none other than Mario Kart 64! That's one of my favorites...then again I love the Mario Kart series...LOVE IT! That makes it only the second N64 game to be released on the VC in the US (there has not been one since launch and Super Mario 64). For the full press release, make the jump.

YES! YES YES YES!!! I've got a Wii points card sitting here just waiting for Mario Kart 64 to be released, and finally here it comes! The BEST Mario Kart game with the BEST multiplayer! Hooray! Ah crap, now I need to buy more gamecube controllers.
I'm not happy. A release date for Smash Bros. Brawl was not included in the first quarter releases.
A Link to the Past and Mario Kart 64! Too bad I don't have any Wii points or a classic controller.
d-k-x, if you have a Gamecube controller, you should be able to use it with either one of those games with no problem. ;p I'm sorry I cannot help you with the Wii points, though. :(
