New Wii VC Titles Arrive, No One Cares

This week’s Virtual Console titles had Wii owners yawning and rolling back over to sleep on New Year’s morning. The banner titles they decided to roll out for the first VC titles of 2007? NES Baseball and NES Urban Champion! Talk about starting of the year with a whimper. Ah well, we’ll all just sit back and cross our fingers for the release of Mario Kart 64, which is rumored to be coming out soon.

I haven’t done too much VC title downloading as I have a bunch of new games to try and finish. Has anybody else downloaded many of these games and have any recommendations? New Wii owners want to know, so be a peach and enlighten them in comments section!

You Definately should get the Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Super Castlevania 4, Mario 64 and F-zero. the’s are seriously good games from the nintendo systems of old. For the TG16 try Bonks adventure and R-type for a real challenge.

for Genesis. Gunstar Heroes Ristar and Sonic the hedgehog.

you’re name reminds me of fruit snacks, fruit brute.

wario woods is fun for a 5 min ode to tetris and dr mario. and since its 2 players its a good way to introduce friends to the vc. dont dL street fighter its horrid. slow and controlls are awful/

and yes what beximus said/.

if you wanted the starter pack

id say super mario bros, mario 64, sonic (worth it just to hear that music again) and wario woods. or whynot get your self an emulator and try before you buy on a pc, or your ds, that way you know what youd like

holler.

Super Star Soilder is the most underrated game on the VC. If anyone thought that Ikaruga didn’t offer enough challenge, I dare you to take on this one. Difficult, colorful, fun weapons, inventive bosses. This game deserves a new life on the VC.

Also, anyone that likes Advance Wars should check out Military Madness. It’s basically the same thing without the character stories getting in the way.

I would only recommend Super Mario 64. But seeing that MK64 is coming out I guess I’ll get that too.

I’m a big monkey (man) fan so Donkey Kong Jr. and the origianl Donkey Kong are big favs with my bf and I. It’s fun to do shots and see how far (or not far if you drank too much) you get with a buddy on a weekend. Nice site by the way.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
