Konami Cuts Upcoming PS3 Titles
Looks like more bad news for the PS3. Amid recent stories of major title being pulled from the new system, comes another blow. Konami, has canceled a total of five upcoming titles for the PS3 and two titles for the Wii. PS3 will still be getting the new Metal Gear Solid and Hellboy titles, but not much more than that is really known.
My guess is that perhaps Konami overextended themselves by promising too many titles for the new generation of systems and are now being forced to pull back. I don’t think this retraction has anything to do with a lack of faith in the PS3 platform from Konami, but more to do with their ability (or inability) to turn out a large amount of quality games this year.
I’m praying for a new Silent Hill…

suikoden 6 for ps3 is another casualty of this cull.
worryingly the “titles” of the wii games were “unnamed action rpg” and “unnamed rpg” could we just have witnessed the death of wii castlevania or wii goeman?
One that was named was Gradius (ps3). Even though I’m not planning on getting a ps3 for years, I would have still wanted to play that game. :_(
All the Silent Hill talks makes me want to play a new one. Konami, SilWiint Hill, please?
