EB Games Manager Murdered

So here's some utterly upsetting news: Amber Belkin, an EB Games store manager in San Antonio, TX, was found murdered in the shop she worked. She was the manager sent to open the store on Monday, and some other managers stopped by to check on things when they couldn't reach Amber on the phone that afternon.
Witnesses told police Belken arrived at the store around 9 a.m. Monday, an hour before the store opens. At 9:08 a.m., she text messaged one last "I love you" to her boyfriend. Police later told her father she turned off the store alarm around 9:12 a.m.
Police believe Belken was killed within an hour of sending the message and deactivating the alarm.
While the front door to the store was still locked, the back door's security bar wasn't in place and it had been locked from the outside. Inside the shop, the safe had been emptied of all cash and Amber's body was on the floor with a bag covering her head; she died from asphyxiation. Whether or not Amber's keys had been taken off her body wasn't mentioned in any of the articles mentioning the murder.
Police are currently investigating the case, but it looks like things might be more difficult than one would expect since this particular EB Games had no security cameras within the store.
This whole case sucks. There aren't any jokes to tell, there are no stupid criminals to make fun of, and there certainly isn't any humor to be found in stories like these. Instead, all that we can feel is sadness, and anger, and perhaps some hope that the bastards who committed this horrible crime are caught.
Game store manager suffocated [Metro State]

My heart goes out to her family and I hope they catch who did this.
No one should be killed over some quick cash.
my heart goes to her family and her b/f
that is really really sad.. what a creep!! and can you imagine she was all her father ever had.
This is very sad.
What a horrible thing to do.
I'm sure they didn't have that much money in the store to begin with. Is one or, two thousand dollars (at most) worth someone's life? I don't think so.
I can't help but think that this was done by someone that was a former employee of the store. What a coincidence that there were no security cameras...
Normally people who rob stores don't kill the clerk unless is necessary. I don't think that girl was a real threat to the robber. I think there's more to the story...
wow, that sucks. i have no additional comments
