Cingular Doesn't Want You... Yet.

Admit it, you want an iPhone. Ok, but even if you don't, everyone has an opinion about the skinny little item. At a gay housewarming party I reluctantly found myself at recently it was clearly the hot topic. Even the most stalwart doubters had to admit that it was a beautiful thing and would like to hold it in their hand just once, like a drunk bi-curious jock.
But if you don't have Cingular, you are gonna have some choices to make when June rolls around. Getting out of a current plan is an expensive and tedious chore at best, and there will be little or no discount for long-term Cingular users (like myself) who want to get their mitts on the multi-tasking phone from the future. To make matters worse, it appears that Cingular has done very little thinking about preparing for this mass exodus.
One blogger has already started his path of switching form T-Mobile to Cingular, and it isn't a pretty one. Follow the link below for a tale of woe, despair, betrayal, incompetence, and Craigslist. He's even keeping updates so others can follow his story with bated breath and hopefully learn from his experience.
