Another PS3 Euro TV Spot: Bike Tricks=SIXAXIS

I just can't get enough (somebody cue the Depeche Mode) of these silly european PS3 commercials. I know what you're thinking: "Here we go, another attack on the PS3..." Let's get one thing straight. I find the PS3 as darkly alluring as the rest of you. It really is just a matter of time (or until a great game comes out on it) until I pull out my cute kitten wallet and take it up the rear. But they make it just too damn easy! There's something about the very premise of these spots that I find utterly nonsensical. Let's think about it shall we?

"It's where the old rules don't apply," eh? And you're showing us this by showing tried and true human talent with respected displays of technique? Maybe if the guy doing the bike tricks took off flying, a la The Matrix 2, I would understand these commercials. But instead it shows the controller button symbols flying by in what can only be described as a close up of the bloodstream, apparently telling us that without the PS3, we would no longer be able to fight off infection.

"This is living," is apparently not a kindly suggestion, but a threat voiced in a kindly british accent.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
