Wii Forecast Channel Ready To Predict Temperatures

It’s official, the Wii Forecast Channel is up and ready to tell you what the weather is in your hometown or anywhere in the world. You can check today’s weather, highs, lows, UV index and there’s even a 5 day forecast! Ok, so it’s semi useless, but still!
Simply go to your Wii’s main menu and choose the Forecast Channel. It will give you the option of updating, choose yes and wait for about 2 minutes and voila! Now you can decide if you should go outside or keep playing Zelda, all from the comfort of your very own Wii. Thanks to everyone who sent this one in!

The weather channel’s amazing. The 3-D globe is beautiful, and the way you can just spin around it with the Wiimote… I, for one, love my new toy.
Meh, it took a half hour to download for me. Though I did that at around 5:30AM. Still, the server should have been happily available. Whatever.
The actual weather forecasting it okay. My city isn’t a choice, but I was able to find a city that’s only 20 minutes away.
Oh, and when I checked the weather this morning, Baghdad was 41 degrees.
Ahead of schedule, no less! Next time I take a break, I’m gonna check the wiither. Or should that be weathiir.
Most cities don’t actually have weather stations, Fevrin. If you go to weather.com (the Weather Channel, where the Forecast Channel is getting its data) you’ll find that when you put in the city you live in, it’s actually giving you the weather info from the nearest city with a weather station. Most other sites say something like “Observed at Albany Airport, 16:05” but weather.com doesn’t.
