while this feels LESS bought out than previous VGAs, which have been laughable at best, there are several which just don’t fit. MK: Armageddon better than Tekken Dark Resurrection? come on! LocoRoco should also have obviously won for best music, as those get stuck in your head to bounce around so easily.

I’m also quite sick of the media all suckling at the teats of Oblivion and Gears of War.

Okami deserves a lot more respect than it received, despite being well received, it dropped off the radar fast. I know that Spike is doing the hyper-testosterone games for most of this, but the industry can STILL do better for an awards show.

You are right, Filler, I’m surprised Okami was passed up after receiving so many nominations.

Wow, Kingdom Hearts 2 was robbed in the voice-acting category. While it got an award for Cook as Kairi, it by far has had the best overall cast of any game I’ve played.

Eep! Got actresses confused. Cook was Tifa. So they gave it to an actress who had all of four lines in a game. Nice.

Maybe I wasn’t aware the cut-off date a game had to be released before was between Gears of War and Zelda, but I just can’t take this seriously if Zelda wasn’t even nominated for anything.

There was a cutoff date, something like November 15. Regardless, Spike TV continues its tradition of being completely irrelevant.
