Lunar Knights, Further Proof of Kojima Genius

Who knows when this game will actually come out, but hoooo boy doesn’t it look fun. There aren’t enough games coming out that look like this anymore. Top-down, stylus-using, cel-shaded, anime-inspired, bust-em-up goodness. Hyphenated fun all around!

Loosely connected to the Boktai games, otherwise known as “those annoying games you had to play outside,” the Japanese release of Lunar Knights appears to add to the title the names of the main characters: Django and Sabata. The US release reportedly will change their names to more American friendly ones. Which means removing all semblance of foreign influence. Don’t you just love when things are made more palatable for our simple, English speaking minds?

Guh…I hate when they rename characters to “simplify” it for US players.
Still, the game looks awesome, can’t wait. I love Kojima, he’s at least as big a part in why I play games as Shiguru Miyamoto is.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
