Gamestore Crime Spree In Northeast

After a theft of over $20,000 worth of systems and games from a Hookset, N.H., EBGames, investigators believe it could be linked to a string of similar thefts across Massachusetts and Rhode Island, this, according to a report in the Concrod Monitor. The primary victims are Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 consoles. The motivation for the thefts should be fairly obvious as people are anxious to get their hands on these systems in order to make a profit from people willing to pay highly inflated prices for them.
Detective Matt Fleming has warned people with these systems, or new systems in general, to “secure them in your homes as best you can.” Fortunately, someone will be at my place over the holidays, I anticipate nothing being gone…then again, don’t we all? Lock ‘em up!
Now, is it just me? ...or have console launches really gotten out of hand since the last round or the one before that?

...lol, ‘xBoxes’....

Are people seriously getting inflated resale prices on Xbox 360s? Even Tweeter had a pile of those ready to go, when I was there last weekend to get an xmas present installed.
