Blue Dragon Spans Three DVDs
Hironobu Sakaguchi revealed to Famitsu that the Xbox 360 game Blue Dragon will be released on 3 DVD’s. Even with compression, the game would take up 30 Gigabytes of space. Blue Dragon is speculated to run your average gamer about 40-50 hours to finish. Sakaguchi confirmed that there will also be a sequel to Blue Dragon.
Blue Dragon has been in development for three years. It seems like it’s been a goal of Microsoft’s to create a game that will finally sell Xbox 360’s in Japan. The Japanese audience has been really resistant to the Xbox and the 360. Blue Dragon should fare well in Japan. It was developed by the creator of the Final Fantasy series, which is some serious pedigree. Blue Dragon will be an Xbox 360 exclusive and will be released on December 7th in Japan. A North American or European release has not been announced.
