Xbox 360 Cooler So Hot It Burns
It’s like a black fly in your chardonnay; it’s like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife; it’s meeting the Xbox 360 of your dreams, and then meeting his hideously malfunctioning cooling accessory. Even Alanis might not sing about the irony of the Nyko Intercooler, a 360 cooling accessory that’s been burning out Xboxes, according to the whiz kids at Engadget. Word on the street says the Intercooler draws so much power from the already power-hungry console (the Box doesn’t fall far from the tree, does it?) that it actually causes burnout. Some folks have even noticed “brown discoloration” around the AC input before the dreaded red ring appears.
Brown discoloration before the red ring appears? That joke tells itself. As always, y’all: caveat emptor.
