Red Octane Announces Wireless Guitar Hero Controllers

They’re back, and this time they’re official! No more wires, no more third party wonky controls, Red Octane has finally announced they will be releasing their own branded Guitar Hero controllers.
Eurogamer reports that the US can expect these beauties within a month, just in time for Guitar Hero II, for the low low price of $59.99.
They will be compatible with either Guitar Hero 1 or 2 (the latter’s due out next month in the US and Europe), and we’re assured that they use the same mechanism, and have been created to the same high quality as the wired Guitar Hero SG controllers.
They’re also going to be white, we’re told (I don’t know why I did that in italics either), but it’s not clear whether the actual shape has changed at all.
White guitars! Fancy! I hope we get a little bit more variety in the way of stickers this time..maybe some Hello Kitty or Lisa Frank.

Phedge that noise, sixty bucks to go farther than 6 feet away from my tv really isn’t worth it to me.
