Mmmm I Can Taste The Wii, Now

OK, in the midst of tying up loose ends at my current job in preparation for a new position at one of New Orleans’ most presitigious firms and buying a new car…I finally have a chance to sit down and write about my hectic Wii pre-order experience.
It started with me leaving early to go to the Riverwalk Mall downtown. On my way in, I called my friend at the store to ask what the line looked like…unfortunately he said that there were 20 people in line, ALREADY! So, as soon as I got in my office, I started calling all the EB/GS’s around the area, all were out. DAMMIT! /angry I kept calling stores from 8:45 to 10:30…Timsy lost hope. :(
Then, at 11:45am, my man at the Riverwalk called me and asked, “You still want a Wii?” I said, “Oh boy, do I!!!” So I pranced my way out of my office building and on over to the mall (fortunately only 4 blocks away) and reserved my Wii, an extra Wii-mote, two nunchuks (I made the mistake of thinking the Wii only came with a Wii-mote, not a nunchuk) and a classic controller…plus more money down on Twilight Princess, Metal Slug Anthology and FF XII! FTW!!! So yes, Virginia, Timsy’s got a Wii, and he loves it. /flex Plus on my way to and fro’, I saw all sorts of hot men with English accents in snazzy threads, downtown…it was nice, means the cruise ships are back!
Now, let us hope the stigma of Friday the 13th has no effect on the probability that some ‘pwii-orders’ may not get fulfilled! Oh well, no worries, now on to the New Orleans Film Festival!

. . . why would you pre-order two nunchuks when you’re only getting one extra Wiimote???
“pwii-orders” – Isn’t that just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
its ADORABLE!
My mistake with the pre-order, I had thought the Wii only came with the Wii-mote, not a nunchuk attachment. Going to cancel that on Monday.
