Reader Matt S sends in this awesome art piece based on Super Mario Brothers that he created as a project for his college Color and Design class.
The idea was to create a section of gaudy, busy wallpaper. Being the big gay gamer that I am, I went for some classic Mario action. Originally, I was going to paint the 20”x30” image, but I eventually just created each character and block and coin in Illustrator and had it printed out in sections. There was a printing error with the Goomba, so I pasted on some fake ERROR glitches to cover up the real glitches.
I think I shall redo the parlor here in GG castle with this wallpaper, The Holly Hobby paper that’s in there now just isn’t cutting it anymore…
