C64 On The Wii

Commodore 64 Box

Epyx has announced that they are bringing a plethora of Commodore 64 titles to the Wii Virtual Console. It will be interesting to see how these titles work on the Wii, considering that the Wii doesn’t have a physical keyboard. The Virtual Console will feature games from Turbografx 64, Sega Genesis, NES, SNES, and N64.

This is great, since I was a kid Impossible Mission’s speech synthesis opening has been indelibly seared in my psyche, “Stay a while, stay forever!! Mwaa ha ha haa!”

For the list of games Epyx released, make the jump.
